I love espresso, cupcakes and my two cats Jack and Meg... Sorry, I just had to do the obligatory “about me page” jargon. Happens to be true though. Well, at least the part about espresso and my cat's anyway. I named them after The Whitestripes.

Okay, so that was a bit long winded.
My first love was music. Vinyl albums to be exact. I would play them on a portable record player a friend gave me. I carried it home 2 miles on my bike. I still remember that journey. Dang thing was heavy and awkward for a little man to carry one handed on a bike. I remember it was hot out and my mouth was bone dry from both exertion and excitement. But I was determined. I couldn’t wait to get home and crank the thing.
I made it home. But the little speaker on this suitcase record player was broken or not loud enough, I don’t remember which. So I plugged it into my brothers Fender, Twin Reverb amplifier and I was in heaven.
I would immerse myself in music for hours on end. It was all I did. That and stare at the album covers, absorbing every last detail on them.
I fell in love with those images and thus at an early age, I was forever mesmerized by photography.
So I started saving money. I worked four paper routes, cut lawns, shoveled drives and eventually at a Dairy Queen. Then finally, combining the money gifted to me on my 18th birthday, with what I had saved up, I had enough. I bought my first camera. A Pentax. I still have it.

"I approach photography like I approach music. I want my images to move you the way your favorite song does. After all, it was a moment captured just for you."
